LUV TEA in the West Village Celebrates Galentines and Valentines

Luv Tea, whose name is inspired by the Buddhist notion of love, is a West Village haven for tea lovers and enthusiasts, offering a menu of innovative tea blends from around the globe and tea ceremonies.

It was founded by Tea Master Jaesy Wang and her apprentice, Wan Di in 2015. Luv Tea provides an exquisite selection of delicious high-grade teas. The shop focuses on tournament grade oolong teas sourced from Jaesy's family farms in the famed A-Li-Shan in Taiwan, and other modern tea beverages that meet Jaesy's exacting standards.

Guests will be impressed with the fine variety that includes Taiwanese Oolongs, a selection of cold drinks, herbal blends, and hot and cold milk teas. An array of seasonal treats is also provided by pastry Chef Miwa Oizumi.

The tea shop is simple and sophisticated evoking a warm and inviting energy. The cozy space features white brick walls, wooden banquet seating, black and grey tables and a large Zen garden in the back of the room.

On Galentine's Day, you can attend a Tea Ceremony at Luv Tea that will be hosted by International Top Model and Tea Connoisseur David Chiang. It's an entertaining and memorable event for ladies to share with all of their besties. The Tea Ceremony will provide an in-depth history of tea, an introduction to the different teas, how to prepare the table and a demonstration of the tea preparation. Participants will also savor some of Luv Teas' finest tea collection paired with outstandingly delicious Milk Tea Macarons by pastry Chef Miwa Oizumi that are made with the exact ingredients from Luv Tea's hot and cold milk tea selections. The Tea Ceremony will take place on Galentine's Day, February 13, 2019 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and will cost $45 per person. This special event is by reservation only.
