Combining two of craft beer's most popular categories, Barrel-Aged Gunnpowder IPA brings together a fresh and vibrant IPA that is accentuated by the flavors of bourbon barrel aging. Starting this month, the beer will be available in a 4-pack of 11.2 oz. bottles across the US, with draft scheduled to be released in the Fall.

"This beer is definitely an IPA first with the notes of the barrel actually rounding out the bitterness that hops typically impart in the beer," said Dougal Gunn Sharp, Founder & Master Brewer for Innis & Gunn. "You're in for a bright and fresh aroma of tropical fruits and citrus followed by a nice smoothness coming from the untoasted bourbon barrels. Being mid-range on both IBU and ABV, our IPA delivers a satisfying and flavorful experience."

Innis & Gunn Barrel Aged Gunnpowder IPA is an American inspired India Pale Ale brewed with Summit, Cascade, and Citra hops and finished over untoasted bourbon barrels. The beer is 5.6% ABV and has 54 IBUs.
