Fusion Jerky, the innovative Bay Area artisan jerky company, is excited to announce the brand new Original Hickory Beef flavor for the Costco market! This lightly hickory smoked jerky has a hint of sweetness and packs 12g of protein into every gluten-free serving!

"We are thrilled to be partnering with Costco as we continue our explosive growth, and we're excited to share our softer style jerky with the incredible Costco community! Our customers have been asking for a smoky flavor and a family-size bag, so we created a minimally-processed, nitrite- and preservative-free Original Hickory Beef flavor," says KaiYen Mai, Fusion Jerky CEO and Founder. Rolling out this month exclusively in Costco Midwest stores, Original Hickory Jerky in 14oz bags is expected to be nationwide by summer.

This premium jerky product is specially formulated for balanced flavor (not some truck stop smoke bomb) and uses a unique proprietary process to produce Fusion Jerky's signature softer texture.

"My family has been making premium quality jerky for half a century, but I've decided to fuse the bold modern flavors that my husband and kids love with our softer jerky," said KaiYen Mai. "My family's health is the most important, so we choose our animals from nearby farms and hand craft it to be the most tender jerky in the US," she explains.

The company built their state-of-the-art USDA Fusion Ranch facility in Nebraska so they could carefully control every step of their family recipe and ensure total transparency and traceability. With 50 years of jerky history (her family is paparazzi-level famous in Taiwan for their premium softer jerky) this rebel daughter has truly fused tradition to innovation and flavor.

Bay Area native KaiYen Mai was climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and needed a high protein snack to maintain her energy, but wanted a natural product that tasted great with a clean label.
