Burke & Wills, the modern Australian bistro on the Upper West Side houses the Manhattan Cricket Club. This elegant, yet comfortable cocktail parlor is a luxuriously appointed space that pays homage to the classic cricket clubs in Australia. Manhattan Cricket Club is now launching a traditional High Tea, a real treat for New Yorkers.

The "Classic" tea will cost $45 per person and include a selection of loose leaf teas and herbal infusions from their rare tea cellar. Seasonal sandwiches including Cured Salmon and Pork Rillette, traditional scones, and a delectable sweets collection will be served with teas.

Additionally, a selection of caviar including Oscetra, White Sturgeon and Siberian served with classic accoutrements, will be served a la carte. You can also order Manhattan Cricket Club's specialty cocktails crafted by renowned mixologist Greg Seider of Summit Bar, Le Bernardin and The Mercer Kitchen. Seider is also the author of Alchemy in a Glass. A fine selection of champagne by the glass and bottle will also be available.

Manhattan Cricket Club is now accepting reservations for High Tea. Hours for High Tea will be Saturday and Sunday from 2-5pm. Manhattan Cricket Club is located at 226 W. 79th St. (above Modern Australian Bistro Burke & Wills), New York, NY 10024. Call 646-823-9252 or visit www.mccnewyork.com for more information.
