Traditionally rooted in Hinduism, people of all faiths in India now celebrate the colorful festival to signify the start of Spring, which Benares plans to honor. At no cost to customers, the following is available for everyone to enjoy: Gundai, dry color powder that can be applied; Thandai, a traditional cold beverage of milk and nuts; and assorted Indian sweets.

Benares Indian Restaurant, known for its diverse Indian cuisine from the 28 states of India, offers a medley of regional dishes with a strong emphasis on vegetarian and seafood entrees. Highlights of the menu include Dahi Ke Kebab, creamy seasoned fried yogurt patties, Tawa Scallops with tomato-green chili and ginger sauce and Cheema Thenga, plump jumbo prawns in coconut milk curry.
