RagTag's GUYS AND DOLLS' Jubilee Dancers to Raise Funds for Vets, Kids' Dance Scholarships, 3/29

When the Jubilee dancers bring the Hot Box Girls to life in Guys and Dolls on March 29, they will be recreating a Pulitzer Price-winning Broadway musical, and also raising funds for the Twinkle Toez Foundation and Beyond Sight Veterans Outreach Project.

Twinkle Toez provides scholarships to at-risk children and those with physical and mental disabilities so they can participate in the arts. Beyond Sight provides support to veterans of the armed forces who have lost their sight.

Guys and Dolls, which is being produced by the award-winning RagTag Entertainment at the Las Vegas Hotel (LVH), also will feature Lou De Meis as Nathan Detroit, Robin Vincent as Miss Adelaide, and real-life couple Ayler Evan and Amanda Kaiser as Sky Masterson and Sarah Brown. Musical Director Bill Fayne will bring his vast knowledge and love of musical theatre to the production.

"Not only does Guys and Dolls feature an amazing cast of professionals-many of whom work on the Las Vegas Strip-but it also helps two great programs," said Director and RagTag Entertainment Producer Andrew Wright. "We are excited to bring this classic Frank Loesser musical to the LVH stage and also support our community."

The 1951 Pulitzer Prize-winning Broadway musical features the antics of gambler Nathan Detroit as he tries to set up the weekly floating crap game. In need of $1,000, he bets Sky Masterson that the slick gambler cannot get missionary Sarah Brown to go on a date to Havana. Meanwhile, Nathan's long-time fiancé, Miss Adelaide, laments about her inability to get Nathan to walk down the aisle and settle down.

Guys and Dolls features well-known Frank Loesser classics such as "Luck Be a Lady," "Adelaide's Lament," and "Take Back Your Mink."

RagTag Entertainment is a not-for-profit theatre company committed to enriching the community through the arts. RagTag supports arts in education and provides free workshops, productions and master classes at local schools.
