Group Theatre Too Announces 2011 Choreographer's Canvas

The Group Theatre Too (GTT) presents its fourth annual Choreographer's Canvas, a one-night event featuring the works of over fifteen established and emerging choreographers from around the country. The Canvas, headed by GTT Executive Producer Justin Boccitto, will play at the Manhattan Movement and Arts Center and showcases many styles of dance including tap, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, theatre dance, aerial and this year flamenco and Bollywood.

This year's choreographers include: James Atkinson, Michelle Barber, Bob Boross, Emily Bufferd, Crystal Chapman, Jim Cooney, Bobby Hedglin-Taylor, Marian Hyun, Jason Marquette, Christohper Noffke, Kelly Peters, Jonathan Riedel, Sue Samuels, Amit Shah, Nick Stenson, Rebecca Thomas, Sidney Erik Wright and GTT leaders Michael Blevins and Justin Boccitto. Past choreographers have been selected through the Canvas by such institutions as Lincoln Center and the event has been sponsored by Broadway Dance Center, Capezio, Manhattan Movement and the Society of Directors and Choreographers.
