This spring, Jet City Improv is proud to present the world premier of Claim of Thrones - a treacherous, unpredictable comedy inspired by HBO's hit series.

Every night's performance will tell a brand new story of betrayal, seduction, and devastating surprises as the fate of four warring families is guided by the will of the audience. An act of war could come down to a vote by those sitting in the fifth row. A woman sitting in an aisle seat may be called upon to fire the arrow that saves her favorite handmaiden's life.

Each character's morality and honor is ultimately up to their fans in the auditorium, and the choices they make will guide their favorite character to glory ... or death.

"All of the Game of Thrones fans I know can't help but shout at the screen during the juicer episodes" says co-creator Jon Axell. "We wanted to develop a theatrical experience that would simulate what would happen if the story could hear you. Of course, as any Game of Thrones fan knows, what you want as a viewer is sometimes used to hurt you."

"The books and television series looks for ways to push boundaries and narrative expectation; a stage show, then, should push for ways to explore the content past a simple rehash of favorite moments," adds co-creator Douglas Willott. "You'll see sex, violence, and brash characters vying for power, but we're creating new stories and methods of bringing them to audiences and giving them a heavy influence over the fate of the realm."

The ensemble cast features a collection of improvisers and comedians from across Seattle: Dayo Anderson, Britney Barber, Mike Christensen, Nathan Cox, Kate Drummond, Hisam Goueli, Joe Koenen, Amalia Larson, Greg Phelps, John Wachter, and Elicia Wickstead.

Claim of Thrones runs Thursday and Friday nights from tonight, April 2 through May 22 with a special opening night gala on April 2 featuring a Q&A with the actors followed by complimentary cake and champagne. Tickets are $15 for general admission, $12 (with ID) for students, seniors, and military personnel and TPS members.
