Genre-Defying Musician Nahre Sol To Perform Live at Marble Collegiate Church at Marble Collegiate Church

Pianist, composer and genre-defying creator Nahre Sol will perform a live solo concert on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 7:00 p.m. in the historic Marble Collegiate Church Sanctuary, 1 West 29th Street at Fifth Avenue in New York City. Michael T. C. Hey, Marble’s Director of Music, will join her for select moments during what is certain to be a memorable, music-filled evening.

Attendees can expect a peaceful, intimate evening of playful and atmospheric music that reflects Sol’s eclectic artistry. A Juilliard- and Glenn Gould School–trained pianist and composer, Sol is known for blending classical tradition with improvisation, contemporary harmony, and experimental elements. Her work has been performed in major venues throughout Europe and North America, including Wigmore Hall, the Elbphilharmonie and Verbier, and she is widely recognized for her innovative YouTube series exploring music theory, creativity and composition. Sol has contributed music to film and video game projects, served as the first Creator in Residence at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg and is currently completing her Master's in Composition at the Yale School of Music.
