New York Philharmonic Ensembles Series Continues with Three Concerts

The 35th season of the New York Philharmonic Ensembles series - chamber concerts showcasing Musicians from the Orchestra performing classical masterpieces and modern compositions in an intimate setting - will continue Sunday, February 17, 2019, at Merkin Hall. The concert will feature Honegger's Sonatine for Violin and Cello, Debussy's Piano Trio, and Fauré's Piano Quartet in G minor.

The Ensembles series continues Sunday, April 7, 2019, with a concert featuring three tangos by Piazzolla, Beethoven's String Quartet No. 2, and Stravinsky's L'Histoire du soldat. The final performance of the season, Sunday, May 26, 2019, will feature Schubert's Notturno, Sofia Gubaidulina's Piano Quintet, Popper's Requiem, and Shostakovich's Piano Trio No. 2.
