Music at Trinity Sets 2026-2027 Season and Second Annual COMPOSERFEST
The season at Trinity Cathedral will feature organist David Briggs and ensembles Urban Nocturnes and Helios.
Music at Trinity, under the direction of Erik W. Goldstrom, has announced its 2026-2027 Concert Series at Trinity Cathedral, 100 W. Roosevelt Street in downtown Phoenix.
The free and low-cost series begins in October with resident chamber ensemble Urban Nocturnes, followed by the 17th annual Festival for Nine Lessons and Carols for Christmastide. Internationally renowned David Briggs brings Organ Fireworks to the Cathedral as part of the Peel Memorial Concert.
Urban Nocturnes will return in the new year followed by two firsts for Music at Trinity: a classical guitar performance by Benjamin Lougheed and “Jazz in the Cathedral” with the trio We3. The latter celebrates the Music Guild's 10 years of volunteer support to the concert series.
The season will conclude on April 30 and May 1 with Music at Trinity's second annual ComposerFest, a two-day concert experience dedicated to the work of a single composer. For this season, Music at Trinity will showcase French Romantic composer, Camille Saint-Saëns, with concerts featuring the renowned musicians of Helios: A Modern Renaissance and Urban Nocturnes.
