Conductor Roderick Cox Replaces Ton Koopman For November 11-13 BSO Concerts
Koopman has had to withdraw from his upcoming appearances with the Boston Symphony Orchestra due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.

Regrettably, conductor Ton Koopman has had to withdraw from his upcoming appearances with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, November 11, 12, and 13, at Symphony Hall, due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
Replacing him will be American conductor Roderick Cox who will be making his BSO debut. As originally programmed, he will lead the BSO in Mozart's Clarinet Concerto, featuring BSO principal William R. Hudgins as soloist. Mr. Cox will also conduct the BSO in Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 3, Scottish, in place of Beethoven's Second Symphony.
