Strings: A Love Story by Las Vegas based author Megan Edwards has just been released by Imbrifex Books.

Life is full of strings, from family ties to fond attachments. Ted Spencer has four extra, the ones on his violin. He finds his soul mate in Olivia, but all those strings get in the way. When the Merino Rose appears-a legendary violin that has been missing for centuries-can its four fabled strings draw Ted and Olivia together at last?

Erich Segal's 1970 best-seller, Love Story and Robert James Waller's 1992 classic, The Bridges of Madison County both gripped a generation of women with stories that met them precisely where they were in life. Love Story is the maiden's tale, Bridges, the mother's. In Strings, Megan Edwards depicts the third phase of a woman's life, the golden age. Like Love Story and Bridges, Strings is a story about love that transcends the ordinary.

Strings: A Love Story spans decades and continents as it follows the lives of Ted Spencer and Olivia de la Vega. Ted narrates the tale of how he and Olivia met at a California boarding school back in the 1960s. As youthful soulmates, they plan a life together, but strings-both family ties and those on Ted's violin-get in the way.
