World Guide Publishing, New York, NY, has announced today that it has entered an agreement to acquire Trip Companion Books Publishing Company. While small, and a true niche company, the Denver, Colorado based Trip Companion Books Publishing Company has been established for over 15 years, and concentrates only on luxury markets making for a perfect marriage with World Guide Publishing.

When asked about the merger, Trip Companion Books Publishing Company CEO, Martin Livingston said, "It is absolutely in the best interest in both companies. My (personal) health is failing, and, I can't imagine a better solution. This is far better than simply closing our doors and allowing our employees and writers to fend for themselves. I'm just thrilled World Guide Publishing was willing to entertain our proposal, and, I'm overjoyed that a deal was reached."

According to World Guide Publishing Founder and CEO, T.R. "Tina" Threston, "Our main goal is to merge the companies quickly and as seamlessly as possible. And, while we will be shutting down the Trip Companion Books Publishing Denver office, those employees who decide to stay will be able to telecommute and the overwhelming majorities are embracing this opportunity."

Threston went on to explain that the acquisition will be finalized on August 1, 2014, which (ironically) is exactly one year to the date that World Guide Publishing acquired Braganza Publishing.

World Guide Publishing is an independent publisher of books, magazines, and, online newspapers. It is headquartered in New York, NY.
