"Women have always been the strong ones of the world," says the late French designer Gabrielle "Coco" Bonheur Chanel. Since the beginning of time-from Eve to Coco Chanel and beyond-women have always held a place of significance in the history of the world. Author Treva Gordon founded the Leading Ladies and shares stories that prove time and time the true strength of a woman's spirit in her new self-help book, titled Leading Ladies: Sharing Our Stories of Inspiration and Faith.

"The book is God-inspired. I wanted to encourage many women, so the purpose was to gather 50 women together would share inspirational stories," says Gordon. About the Author
Treva Gordon was born in Detroit and grew up in River Rouge, Mich. She accepted the Lord in her life at a young age. She now lives in Tennessee with her husband Robert and three children. In 2004, Gordon had a near death experience that changed her life forever. In her hospital room, she answered her call to God. Today she is an evangelist, author, motivational speaker and more. She is also a business leader. In 2011, Gordon founded the group Leading Ladies. The purpose of the group is to motivate and inspire women from all faiths and backgrounds to succeed. In 2012, she was inspired by the Holy Spirit to reach out to more than 50 women to share their personal stories of inspiration and faith to be placed inside of a book. Many women quickly responded to the call. Gordon is blessed to have the support she has today and continues to make a difference in her community. This is the first book project for Gordon with more books in the works. Her favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Gordon is a graduate of Austin Peay State University with a degree in corporate communications and marketing.
