Warriors Publishing Group (WPG) announces the release of Tony Peluso's newest novel, "Archangel of Sedona" (Trade paperback, December, 2014, $14.95, 978-0-9897-9835-8).

At the site of a world-famous architectural marvel, the Chapel of the Holy Cross, located in the heart of the mystical red rock country surrounding Sedona, Arizona, a young college student encounters an ancient secret that holds the key to the origins of the universe. Over decades, haunted by his epiphany, unexplainable-almost miraculous-events overtake him, until he has a revelation that compels him to go on a dangerous quest to resolve the mystery.

"Archangel of Sedona" documents the personal story of Tony, a veteran trying to integrate his combat experiences with his metaphysical awakening in the Red Rock's atmosphere of infinite space and boundless silence. This hero's journey through beauty and danger weaves together mystery, adventure, and spiritual discovery. And, in the end, we learn there is no serendipity.

"The Red Rock Country and Upper Verde Valley are as beautiful and moving as this compelling story depicts. I was intrigued and fascinated by the real life mystery of the missing figure from the Chapel of the Holy Cross. I'm still haunted by the tale." - Linda Unfried, Light of Corpus Christi Award Winner

Author Tony Peluso ("Waggoners Gap") currently practices law in Tampa, Fla. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, he volunteered for the Airborne and served in Vietnam from 1968-1969 as an enlisted paratrooper with the 173rd Airborne Brigade (Separate). Tony went on to serve 17 more years on active duty as a JAGC officer. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel to take an appointment as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Tampa Division of the Middle District of Florida. Tony served more than 14 years as a Federal Prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney's Office until 2006, when he retired from the Department of Justice to become the Chief Legal Counsel to the Sheriff of Hillsborough County. In 2014, Tony retired again, this time as an HCSO Major to pursue opportunities in private practice and writing novels.
