MELBOURNE, Victoria - Author Des Geddes incites his readers to join him as he recounts his journey of self-healing, a voyage that took him eastward to the mystical orient. From Melbourne to India, "The Darshan Line" follows his self-discovery, his rekindling spirituality, and myriad invaluable life lessons gleaned from his guru, Sai Baba. These revelations, which changed the author's life forever, are now shared in the pages of his new book.

Geddes' presents the true story of one man's life, his search for meaning, healing and the realization of inner truths. This search for "more" is a timeless theme, manifesting in the popularity of Yoga and meditation, the practices of self-inquiry, and the resurgence of Eastern philosophies and practices, all brought on by the desire for balance and the pursuit of happiness. Geddes found what he was looking for, and in recounting the unique relationship he had with his spiritual teacher, he hopes to give inspiration for spiritual aspirants who might find parallels with his experiences and useful insights that may better their lives.

"There is only one Caste, The Caste of Humanity, There is only one Religion, The Religion of Love," Geddes writes. This is the theme conveyed by his book, made with the hopes of enriching the existences of readers everywhere.
