While Baby Boomers were called the "Me Generation," millennials have been given the title of the "Me Me Me Generation." "We need to increase knowledge to increase awareness of God's presence," Sheffield said. "It is our responsibility to protect communities from evil and spread love and truth."

Sheffield makes numerous mentions of "unselfishness" and the "self-idol" concept in his book.

"By sharing my research and knowledge," Sheffield said, "my hope is that we can come together as a nation to love and understand one another, as well as the rest of the world."
