Snow College Selects Akademos for New Online Bookstore Service Snow College has selected Akademos as its online bookstore provider to help students obtain significant savings on course materials. Consistently ranked as one of the top educational institutions in the country, Snow is ideal for students looking to achieve academic success in a fun, safe, residential campus environment. The Institution has two campuses in Utah as well as an online degree option and plans to launch its online bookstore to support the Fall Semester 2018.

Seamless integration between the College's student information system and the Akademos Course Materials Platform (CMP)TM will allow students to see a personalized listing of the textbooks required for each of their courses and to order materials for an entire term, in less than five minutes.

A wide selection of options including new, used, rental, and eBook formats, plus Akademos' proprietary peer-to-peer Marketplace, offers students access to over 100 million unique titles. Additionally, students will have the freedom to use financial aid vouchers on all textbook purchases, including marketplace items, which offers savings on average of 60% off publisher list prices.

"Supporting our students' academic success is the foundation of our mission at Snow College," said Sherri Hansen, Budget Director, Snow College. "Partnering with Akademos will allow us to offer the students a wider variety of course materials, flexible purchasing options, an easy-to-use platform, and lower prices that will help to ease the financial commitments associated with earning their degrees."

The online bookstore will also support the College's faculty and administrators, who will benefit from an easy-to-use and powerful Adoption & Analytics Portal. This platform offers a step-by-step guide for course material adoptions, recommendations, and adoption history, and the ability to compare real-time prices for course materials. Real-time reporting and analytics will enable faculty, academic leadership and administration to view critical bookstore utilization data and key trends.

"We're pleased to be working with Snow College and congratulate them on taking an innovative step to address textbook affordability," said John Squires, CEO, Akademos. "By leveraging our unique platform, Snow will be able to best support the academic success of its students. We look forward to partnering with the college to help them meet their key priorities."
