Self-help Book Inspires Readers to Embrace Attitude of Gratitude

Kevin Carroll marks his publishing debut with the release of "A Moment's Pause for Gratitude" (published by Balboa Press), a self-help book reminding readers of the positive power of gratitude.

The book is a collection of 50 brief stories of gratitude, each with a few questions at the end to invite and encourage the reader to reflect on gratitude in their own life.

"While the stories of gratitude are mine, the readers' responses to the questions are the real value to this book," Carroll shares.

Inspired from an experience Carroll considers as "life changing," the book highlights how gratitude is a universal experience and how it has physical and emotional advantages. "The overall theme of this book is that we can improve our lives tremendously by focusing on the many ways we've been blessed, and by expressing our gratitude to others," Carroll adds.

Through the book, the author reminds readers to focus more intentionally on the many reasons to be grateful for their own lives; develop the ability to see life through the lens of gratitude; and, make a commitment to express their gratitude to others more consistently and conscientiously.
