San Francisco Small Press Vidya Books LLC Announces 2013 Short Story Competition

A small press/bookseller as well as a publisher, Vidya Books LLC of San Francisco/San Jose is inviting writers to enter its annual short story competition. Anyone 21 and above is entitled to join the competition, which is open until March 24 at 5 p.m.

"You are welcome to submit an online short story of any topic. The only constraint is that the short story cannot be more than 5,000 words," Rashmi Singh of Vidya Books LLC said.

The cost for entry is $10. The winner of the 2013 short story contest will receive a $100 credit voucher toward any purchase on vidyabooks.com, plus the winning story will be published online by the Vidya Books LLC and the winner will be profiled as a vidyabooks.com online author.
