What does the public really know about the military aside from what they read in magazines, the internet, or see on television? Salute and Execute is an eye-opening account that raises awareness to individuals about the many different faces-may it be noteworthy or alarming-of the military. It will give readers an inside look at the secrets and controversies behind a well respected institution through the author's own experience in the military.

In his book, author Captain J.C. Day firmly states, "My experience will not be the same as everyone else's and I must stress that I do not wish to denigrate any of the countless men or women who bravely serve or have served in our Armed Services, especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. However, there are some darker sides to our government that I would like to share with the general public that might not be common knowledge."

Salute and Execute is one man's journey through the military including the good, the bad and somewhere in-between. To some Americans it will be a surprising peek at the machinations behind the scenes. Still to some, it will make them mad to read about American "mistakes". To others it will not matter at all, but written up to "collateral damage" in a government that has gotten so big that costly mistakes are bound to be made.
