Paul R. Becker Shares Lessons he Learned in New Book Paul R. Becker wanted to share his life experiences with others in business who may struggle with today's environment of social media. It prompted him to write "The Lessons I Learned: Bring Back Old-School Communication to Succeed in Business" (published by AuthorHouse), a book that will inspire the young generation to take charge of their careers and understand the path previous generations have taken to succeed.

The book is about communication and taking time to reflect and understand how different lives can be. It will encourage readers to start having conversations around the dinner table, bring families back into their homes and listen to one another as everyone express opinions, ideas and suggestions openly.

"This book will give readers a sense of where our society is headed with social media and the lack of communication in our homes," Becker points out. "We need to reflect on the teachings of our parents and reiterate those with our children, friends, employees and co-workers."

"I wrote my story to inspire people to express their feelings and certainly get back to talking. We all have so much to say, and one simple gesture of listening would make a difference. Put down social media for a time and get back to enjoying each other."
