ABOUT "PIRATES & PRINCESSES"
"Pirates & Princesses" will be released in September 2011. The book is an energetic tale of friendship and the playground. Ivy and Fletch have been best friends since babyhood. But when they get to kindergarten, they discover that the girls play with the girls and the boys with the boys; suddenly Ivy and Fletch find themselves apart on the playground, on the Princess Team and the Pirate Team. It isn't until Fletch steps in to rescue Princess Ivy from pirate capture that they realize they miss playing together. Can they desegregate their playground? This lighthearted story of cooperation and open-mindedness will resonate with kids, parents and teachers everywhere.

Author Jill Kargman is best known for her novels "Momzillas" and "The Ex-Mrs. Hedgefund." Having grown up on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, Jill affectionately skewers the more ridiculous aspects of Manhattan upper-class life with a hip twist, and is the idea chronicler of the lives of New York's ultra-rich and ultra-ambitious. The daughter of CHANEL's former Chairman and CEO, Arie Kopelman, Jill is a graduate of Spence School and Yale University, and has also written for prestigious publications such as Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Interview, Town & Country, Style.com and many more.
