About the Author
Owen Michael Jenkins grew up about ten miles from Fontana Dam, North Carolina in the Great Smokey Mountains. His Mother and Father could not read or write and they worked hard and lived off the land. He has two sisters and two brothers. He went to school and received a High School Diploma, but he did not deserve it. At this time and age, he has only about a second grade education. At about the age of twenty-two, he was told by a person that he would never be able to write a poem or song, but he has news for them. It's not in education; it's not what's in your head. It's what's in your heart. His strength comes from what's in his heart and that is Jesus Christ.
