The Outlier Series announced the short e-Book with exclusive interview content from Dr. Mildred M. G. Olivier, is now available for sale on Amazon. The eBook is the fifth to be released profiling one of the six exceptional women featured in the series' upcoming book, Ingredients of Outliers: Women Game Changers. The title of the short eBook is Ingredients of Outliers: Woman Game Changer Mildred M. G. Olivier, MD. Dr. Olivier is best known for her work as an Ophthalmologist, both in private practice and in medical education and missions work, and for her advocacy work as the Assistant Dean of Diversity at Chicago Medical Center.

The book is $0.99 on Amazon.com and can be read on the Kindle eReader application on any compatible device. The interview surveys Dr. Olivier's decision to be a doctor and ophthalmologist, her recommendations for prospective students, her experience as an African American woman in business and medicine, and her advice and resources for anyone aspiring in her ophthalmology.

Dr. Olivier, was chosen as an outlier, featured in the short e-book and Outlier Series third book, by Dr. John Shufeldt, due to her drive to stop at nothing to follow her dreams, and for her passion for education, and humanitarian work. Today, Dr. Olivier is not only a practicing ophthalmologist with a sub-specialty in glaucoma in her private practice, but she is also on the faculty at Chicago Medical School and serves as the Assistant Dean of Diversity, advocating for minority students and faculty. She serves on several boards, while remaining active in pro bono medical training and procedures in Haiti.

The remaining 25-35 page short e-Books with extended interviews from the women featured in Ingredients of Outliers: Women Game Changers are scheduled to release in the winter of 2014. Other women profiled include former Iowa state Supreme Court Chief Justice, Marsha Ternus; Arizona business woman and public figure, Christine Jones; award winning and international bestselling author, Jane Hamilton; former star of the WEtv series Raising Sextuplets, Jenny McClendon; and Sharon Guynup an author, editor, freelance environmental journalist, and photographer.

"The more I get to know Dr. Olivier, the more I am impressed with how much she balances her passion with her discipline. To her, they are one and the same. As a physician, businesswoman, academic, and humanitarian; she is a multi-faceted leader, and a person whose qualities are worth studying. I am confident many will be inspired by her to become an outlier!," said author, entrepreneur, and emergency medicine physician, John Shufeldt.

In the future, short e-Books featuring individuals profiled in the Outliers Series will be created for each book. Content will include extended interviews on individual outliers, along with action and resource guides for those aspiring to enter their related career field. The option to buy the full book will also be available on http://www.ingredientsofoutliers.com.
