One Woman Must Deal with a Resurging Past in Latest Novel Ella Zupcsek-Rhine returns to the publishing scene with the continuation of the story of Elisa, a beloved character from the Zupcsek-Rhine’s first book, “Robots in Pain.” The latest novel, “If you only could love me” (published by Xlibris), chronicles another side of Elisa’s life as a nurse, a mother, and a plebeian of earth and nature.

Pieces of a dark past submerged in oblivion are washed up to the shore of an uncertain present time. A chapter of Elisa’s life she thought was long buried or cremated and ashes spread into a long ago dead past is creepingly reopening its door. Now that the past is back, Elisa has to sort out dreams, wishes and real-life actions.

“Our past follows us no matter how much we want to hide it, to forget it or lie about it. Instead of wrestling with nightmares and allowing ghostly remembering to taunt our days, we can choose to learn from past experiences, let go of the ruefulness and enhance the hope for a daring future,” Zupcsek-Rhine shares.

Zupcsek-Rhine believes that finding love and contentment is a universal theme and people will relate to it. The tale of “If you only could love me” was grounded from her dream of what happiness really is.
