"The Writings of Luke" (published by Xlibris) is the final book in Nita Van Fosson's four part series of new translations of the New Testament in the original letter format. In these ancient correspondences, readers will come to know Luke, his Gospel and his accumulation of the acts of the first followers of Jesus.

According to Van Fosson, each book should be read in one sitting. It is a word-for-word translation with all added words in italics. All order, capitalization, punctuation, and paragraphs are the author's additions.

Readers will be able to follow Biblical events through the perspective of Luke, just as he wrote them in his letters, chronicling the lives of Christ and his followers. His account spans from ancient Jerusalem, Asia Minor, Greece and Italy. Van Fosson directly translates her work from the Greek writings of Luke, adding another layer of authenticity.

For readers seeking an original Biblical translation rather than an update of older translations, "The Writings of Luke" provides them with Van Fosson's fresh interpretation of several crucial chapters in the New Testament.
