New book shares doctors prescription to feeling and looking younger
In the book, the authors teach a lifestyle of wellness to achieve better health and happiness, following the acronym DRESS-SS: D for diet, R for rest, E for exercise, S for sleep, S for stress management, S for sexuality and S for spirituality. Readers will find a guide to select foods, exercise tips, methods to relieve stress and reminders to living a healthier life. With this combination, the authors believe that anyone can reverse illness and prevent diseases, including diabetes and cancer.
A snippet from Living Longer and Reversing Aging:
The prescription is a pragmatic codeor formulabased on my personal experience as a clinician and over forty years of practicing medicine, advising patients on how to maintain a healthier lifestyle. Additionally, my wife and I have lived by this code, and we indeed look much younger than our chronological ages. In this book, we want to share our code to looking younger, living healthier, and enjoying a happier life. What is important for anyone who wants to reverse aging, live longer, and stay healthy is to make a choice, have a positive expectation, and develop the discipline and attitude to be ready physically, mentally, and spiritually for such change while having a goal to be happy along the way.
In todays society, there is a confusion with diets and treatments to lose weight, and relieve stress, Jairo says. My book is a clear and concise guide, easy to follow. It also brings more clarity in a confusing world of information.
