Austeria has published a new Polish language book, "Los Angeles - Angels, Friends and Daemons", by Richard Newton Meyer, a U.S. author from Los Angeles, California.

The story is of power vs. community; money vs. honesty... and purpose.

Translated into Polish by Andrzej Gorka, the book (English title: Friends Downtown) is a detective story which takes place in Los Angeles and follows the investigations of Carl Lehman, P.I. into the dark side of Southern California power players. Noir at its roots, the book, its protagonist and characters are unorthodox in nature. This publishing collaboration between Austeria and a U.S.-based author represents a new step toward bridging the cultures of both nations.

Seldom, if ever since the "Cold War", have these two cultures collaborated on such a basis. Review the links provided and do not hesitate to send inquiries to either the artists' representative or the publisher.
