New Memoir Shares How to Overcome Grief with Spiritual Guidance After experiencing the loss of her father, Angie Montgomery wanted to both help others who are struggling and keep her father alive in memory. “Faith Walk: One Woman’s Journey to Finding Herself” (published by Balboa Press) is Montgomery’s story of overcoming life’s challenges while remaining in faith, a combination of memoir and spiritual journey.

“Faith Walk” shares Montgomery’s perspective on grief. The book begins with the unexpected loss of her dad when she was in her 20s, then continues through how this devastating loss reshaped her perspective on life. Montgomery encourages readers to take the losses experienced and use them as the catalyst to live life more fully.

Montgomery states, “I wanted to help others know that they are not alone and share all of the lessons I learned through my experience of grief…It was also important for me to encourage others to go chase their dreams. Life truly is short and I wanted to inspire others to fully live while they're here.” Through her writing, Montgomery wants to reassure readers that God will always be there to help along the path towards self-discovery and spiritual awakening.
