New Children's Book BUFFY MEETS THE ZOONICORNS is Now Available

Zoonicorn, LLC announced today that its first book, "Buffy Meets the Zoonicorns," in a new one-of-a-kind self-published children's book series is now available on Amazon and on the Zoonicorn website. The newly released children's book combines two of children's favorite animals, unicorns and zebras.

The book and plush toy property captures the trendy fascination with unicorns in our culture, and adds to it the popular and lovable zebra, to create a unique magical animal that children are falling in love with. Unicorns provoke power, calm and joy, and the creators of Zoonicorn have used those healing traits in fun stories for children.

In the first book, Buffy the young Bison gets help from some very special creatures-Zoonicornsthat visit her in her dreams. In the story, Buffy is feeling anxious and restless in the zoo. Her mother sings her a magical lullaby that takes her to a special place, "off to the land where the Zoonicorns play, and all will be well by the light of day." Her four new friends meet her there to play and run, but also help her feel calm and realize all the things she enjoys doing with family and friends and finds new appreciation for the things she had started taking for granted.

"The Zoonicorns exist to take anxious young zoo animals on fantastic and encouraging adventures in their dreams," said creator Mark Lubratt, "and we want the stuffed animals and the books to help kids do the same thing." The book was written by Mark Lubratt and illustrated by Sara Weingartner.

"Buffy Meets the Zoonicorns" is available in hard cover for $15.26 on Amazon and $16.95 on the Zoonicorn website, along with the plush toy animals. Each Zoonicorn is $14.99, but parents can purchase all four animals for $59.95 and get the book as a bonus. Soft and cuddly zoonicorns match every type of child. The Zoonicorn family includes Valeo, the leader of the herd in blue, purple Promithea, who is fun and friendly, pink Aliel is fast and frenzied, and Ene, is green, playful and mischievous.
