New Book of Poetry Expresses Subtle Nuances of Love and Lust In the view of Fahad Bouzubar, people love to read about love, and they love it even more when their own emotions are represented. In his debut publication titled “As Above, So Below” (published by AuthorHouse UK), he offers a collection of poems that honestly and poignantly looks at the subtle nuances of love and lust while reveling in both the corporeal and divine.

“As Above, So Below” talks about love, self and romantic, lust and the soul in a multi-dimensional way. Readers are invited to take on every word, relate and stagger into memories of their own past pains while then walking free, reborn into the discovery of new love and love to come.

“Poetry nowadays has become very superficial and that does not help people become introspective and look within themselves. Besides, everyone is a little in love and everyone wants to heal. I feel like the book would do them good,” says Bouzubar. “I want my reader to take enlightenment and happiness from these poignant poems, knowing that their pains are understood, acknowledged and appreciated.”

An excerpt from the poem, “Pluto,” reads:
She screams something but I couldn’t hear her
The alcohol is too strong
And the music too loud
But our pain is much louder
So she leans over and kisses me
Pulls me close like I’m
Everything she ever wanted
Did she imagine her ex-lover?
Because I sure as hell imagined mine
