With author Jacchi Machito's imagination, and her ancestors' tales from lives past, she created A Woman Named Jacchi, a ten-year effort. Not for the closed minded and the faint-hearted, this novel delves into areas of the supernatural, where readers are catapulted from past, present to future of unbelievably fascinating truth.

A Woman Named Jacchi is a combination of haunting artworks and a beautiful tale of love, hate, envy and murderous attempts to stamp out the bloodlines and incinerate the spirit of the beautiful ancestral line of a woman who only wanted to love and be loved. It is an extraordinary, shivering account that touches on topics of orthodox religion, mysticism, life after death, voodoo practice and the occult workings of those trapped into beliefs, and prejudices of long ago still felt today.

It follows the story of one woman, a transparent entity that belongs to her Maker, brought forth to earth for a mission. Readers can find themselves enlightened as the woman shares insights about life's purpose along with messages from spirits and souls of the departed.

"A Woman Named Jacchi is will grip the soul of the reader, remarkably sensual and lusty, as it teases all senses," the author says. "It will cause tears, hate, cheers, and applause as it causes questions as to the purpose of life with empathy for the heroine."
