According to author Denzil T. Durbin, America is fast falling into the ideology of Obama and his cohorts and radically changed and is fast moving into the vast world's socialistic camp, and the conservative Republicans are falling in line with them. In his daring publication, Secular Humanism vs. Religion, he discusses the clash between religion and humanism, and how the latter is falling in line with what critics call "the 'most dangerous' and 'influential' intellectual and religious movement in America in the present century."

Durbin defines Secular Humanism as a humanist philosophy that upholds reason, ethics and justice and specifically rejects the supernatural and the spiritual as warrants of moral reflections and decision-making. It is viewed that secular humanism lacks a moral framework and that it has contributed to the decay of moral values in modern society. It is said to lead the American right down the primrose path of destruction, and unless something is done to stop it, things will get worse.

The author studied extensively in the field of humanism, yet he relies on the authority of others who are qualified to address the relevant issues. He leaves it to the readers to decide whether his judgment is warranted. He hopes to arouse the readers' interests in the impending dangers of the evils of humanism, and his opinions are offered as food for thought.

Thought-provoking and enlightening, Secular Humanism vs. Religion opens the readers' senses to a multitude of ideologies and challenges their present belief with regards to humanism, and in the end, they are to be the judge of which side to take.
