NAACP Legal Defense Fund President Sherrilyn Ifill and NYU's Anthony Thompson to Talk 'Race, Inequality, and the Law' at National Press Club Headliners Book Event Marc

WASHINGTON, Feb. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ Sherrilyn Ifill, President of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and Anthony Thompson, Director of the Center on Race, Inequality and the Law at NYU, will appear together at a National Press Club Headliners Event at 6:30 p.m. on March 6 th, the publication date of the book they co-authored with former Attorney General Loretta Lynch and author and death penalty lawyer Bryan Stenson entitled "A Perilous Path: Talking Race, Inequality, and the Law."

With decades of experience defending civil rights between them, Ifill and Thompson will have a candid and honest discussion about the state of race relations in Trump's America and what the path forward must look like in this country if we are truly to achieve "justice and equality for all."

This event will feature a discussion with the author, an audience question-and-answer session, and a book signing. Tickets are $5 for National Press Club members and $10 for the general public. To purchase tickets and copies of the book, please click here.
