'My Cloak of Colors' Gets New Marketing Campaign Jennifer Balgobin's heart first led her into acting, then shiatsu massage. When she fell in love with life, she started writing because she needed to express what she was feeling. In her book titled "My Cloak of Colors" (published by Trafford Publishing on November 2013), which is set for a new marketing campaign, she presents poetry about one's search for the deepest love, which is inside and which all live in.

All of Balgobin's experiences over the course of 56 years created the poems in the book, in particular the search for love, friendship, belonging, understanding and healing. In this search, she did find her way home and a great need came over her, in the midst of joy in particular, to express the feelings she was having.

"Everyone is in need of love, air, kindness and peace and I can only hope the book is an accidental finding for somebody on their incredible journey, just a simple reminding and pointing in a direction which has brought me so much joy," Balgobin says. "This book is my personal journey, and the colors are the feelings that came out of lived and remembered situations."

A stanza from the poem "Exploding in My Heart":
I cannot help but smile at that which surrenders itself to me
I surrender to thee that walks with me
exploding in my heart
making joy dance in my eyes
