Just in time for Mother's Day, Melissa Perry Moraja, founder of Melissa Productions, reaffirms her commitment to mothers everywhere as a trend leader in the children's book self-publishing marketplace. Melissa Productions is a frontrunner in the children's book self-publishing arena with childhood favorites like her Splatter and Friends children's picture book series, Jake's Adventure children's chapter book series and most recently Madison and GA (My Guardian Angel) children's chapter book series. Melissa is taking the industry by storm and providing entertainment to households all over the globe.

Melissa states, "I am continuing to create stories that will touch children's lives, hearts and creative minds. Melissa Productions will only provide the best books to help your children grow spiritually, emotionally and intellectually."

In 2004, when a drop of paint splattered on Melissa's hardwood floor, her creative mind transformed it into a colorful, friendly character which she inevitably named as Splatter. Not long after, she developed friends for Splatter, their world and their story. These characters are the the Guardians of the Prism and without them color doesn't exist in the world.

"Color is one thing that children of all ages love and can relate to, especially because it can positively shift their mood," shares Melissa. "The color of Splatter and each of his friends represents the mood of their personality and their innate behaviors. These characters provide a fun, friendly way for parents to help their children express their personal splaterrific color."

With two degrees, global marketing experience, and entrepreneurial vision, Melissa didn't stop there. As her kids entered elementary school, she wanted to continue making a difference in their lives and taught herself how to write and illustrate children's chapter books, while also sharing her knowledge and experiences on her blog titled Not Your Ordinary Psychic Mom blog.

It was in 2011, when her daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and just four weeks after giving birth to her fourth child that Melissa realized her stories and illustrations could help children, mothers, and fathers with difficult situations that families often go through. That's when she started to write a new humor modern-fantasy series called Madison and GA (My Guardian Angel) that teaches children that they don't have to be perfect.

Together, these interwoven stories turned into Melissa Productions, Inc. a self-publishing trend leader whose mission is to bring laughter and color back into your home and heart by creating humorous, educational products and services that promote self-awareness, creative learning and leadership for people ages two and up.
