Marcus Flint is a man in the glamorous world of real estate development. Over the years he has made numerous enemies. One day, Flint dies of an issue thought to be an accident brought on by his diabetes. However, when researching him for a memoir, Bishop Bone suspects the man’s enemies have found the courage and opportunity to murder him. Upon discovering the death looks like murder Bone has to find the greedy killer, before the killer can strike again, or die trying.

“(My book) gives people a look at the dark side of our culture,” Rogers says. “How someone with power can bully his way into getting what he wants, deserved or not. And, how sooner or later, somebody takes exception and stands up to the bully.”

About the Author
Robert Rogers received his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California, his master’s from Tulane, and his Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Mississippi State. He practiced law in California until retiring to write books. As an attorney, Rogers accepted “work out” cases from lenders like the highly fictionalized one in his book. He lives in La Jolla, but like Bishop Bone, owns a second home on a river in Mississippi.
