The chain of events that follow shows how they all dealt with the despair, isolation and struggle to cope and understand their situation.

"I want people to understand the stress and despair families go through, as well as the excitement when they triumph over challenges," Hunter on why she share her own story through this tale. "Such people may be already familiar with autism...others may not, but might better recognize and support people or their caregivers who do face such challenge."
