Assassins present a good deal of dangerous feats and exploits, but a female assassin inarguably doubles the adrenaline rush. Author Larry W. Weathers offers readers an exhilarating novel of a hired hitwoman in his debut book, LA MATADORA. Gyrating in a compact, rough story line, this book blends action and drama without a flaw.

Sam, short for Samantha Oleta Stone, was already an ideal candidate at a very young age. A child prodigy, she was a natural linguist, a star athlete, and the sharpest shooter despite never handling a gun before. On top of all that, she was a law student at Harvard before she came to the realization that justice has lost its real essence. For all she knows, what remains of fairness and equality is the game played by lawyers to determine the best talker or the best loophole finder. That was not what she wanted to be.

She stopped practicing law and took a job as an undercover agent-serving justice far better and faster than the courts, although risks were higher-and, no sooner, excelled in her new career path. Mission after mission, Sam succeeded while authorities could not figure who was behind the deaths. Covert international agencies scuttled after her, knowing a woman with incomparable caliber was rare.

Sam's next and last target is an egotistical, genocidal maniac who is behind the mass grave of men, women and children dumped inhumanely for not voting for him in the last election. Her finishing mission so she could marry and settle with Lalo, the only man she loved who proposed to her a few days just before the final execution. However, the moment she pulls the trigger, her life shatters to pieces completely.

Readers can follow the fast and enthralling plot of this story as it turns out harrowing at the very end. LA MATADORA is a tension-packed mystery fiction with utterly unexpected twists.
