Kira Brettschneider Announces the Release of Mary from the Diary Kira Brettschneider grew up on a farm that went through a drought. She knows the heartache that the farmers are feeling and have experienced the loss of stock due to the lack of food and water. She wanted to write a happy ending story to the tragedy of drought on stock and this prompted her to come up with “Mary from the Dairy” (published by Xlibris AU), an adventure story about a dairy cow who travels the world in search of green pastures and a beautiful dairy to call her own.

There is a drought in Australia. Mary has to go in search of green pastures because she is a dairy cow. She travels the world in search of a dairy. However, there is a reason why she cannot stay at each of these places. Will she find the place that best suits her?

“There are a lot of travelling people in the world. This book shows the journey of my travels and other people may be able to relate to the places or build a dream or interest to want to travel to those places,” Brettschneider says. “Also, Australia is in a drought at the moment and therefore it is important for the farming communities to realize that you can find your way out, it is there.”

“Mary from the Dairy” aims to make readers realize that they have the power to discover their place in the world and the love for travelling and discovering where they fit in the world as well as what other cultures have to offer them. “If you do not feel comfortable in your current situation, change and find your place in the world,” Brettschneider adds.
