Kidnapped Federal Agent Risks Life to Stop Terrorist in 'Terminal... In some situations, there are only two options: success or death. In “Terminal Pulse: A Codi Sanders Thriller” (published by Archway Press) by Brent Ladd, a kidnapped federal agent must risk her own life to stop a vengeful terrorist plotting global disaster. The book is the first in a planned series and is available for purchase at: https://www.amazon.com/Terminal-Pulse-Codi-Sanders-Thriller/dp/1480864188/.

Codi Sanders just started her “dream job” — a job she never dreamed of doing. After failing Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training, Codi entered a downward spiral in civilian life. She managed to land a job working for the General Services. But when a seemingly dead-end tax case blows up, Codi finds herself kidnapped and fighting for her life. With the clock ticking down, she and her team have to free themselves, solve a case no one knows exists and navigate major complications to stop a madman’s plot for revenge.

The book begins in 1940s Mississippi, before flash forwarding to current times. The novel incorporates a number of locales within Europe and the United States. Ladd spent time researching emergent technologies to keep the story based in reality, but the author notes he didn’t let that get in the way of his imagination, highlighting the scary possibilities of an increasingly technological world wrapped in a plot-driven action novel.
