What if you could gain success just by sharing the talents you already possess? Jim Gardner believes you can with the right mind set.

With the lack of job security in the arts industry, many people shy away from pursuing it as a career. This can be a misuse of talent and often lead to dissatisfaction in life. Gardner feels there is a higher sense of fulfillment and satisfaction when people share their gifts with others. His new book, "Artists Are Like Apple Trees" is a how-to guide to success focusing on receiving a profit from creative outlets.

Artists are Gardner's main focus, and he hopes to inspire those interested in music, art and theatre. However, his concept of using talents as services can be applied to anyone. The key is having the right perspective and providing a skill worth buying.

"If we want to increase our wealth, we must find ways to increase our service," Gardner said.

Gardner encourages talented people to live a fulfilling life that is financially rewarding.
