Author Jerry Rhoads uncovers several initiatives that need to be pursued and enacted under a more responsive and representative government with his new publication, The American Enterprise Manifesto. As Alan Greenspan said, "Social Security is not our problem, it is healthcare. Let the market demand dictate the distribution of dollars, not the Congress or the Fed."

The American Enterprise Manifesto exposes the financial debacle created by the Gang of 545 (the President of the US, Congress and the Supreme Court) that now controls the destiny of 313 million Americans who are unrepresented and unappreciated. It provides ideas and support for an effective third party movement based on Enterprise, not lawmaking that destroys freedom.

The people of the United States of America, must take back their sovereignty, and reclaim their right to have a say in the policies and conduct of the government. It offers a third party alternative for those enterprising Americans who pay for the public sector and do not currently have fair representation or input to the system that has caused many fiscal, social, and foreign-relation problems that face this nation of 313 million citizens. It is not entitlement reform that they need, but rather, government reform. This book proposes a comprehensive revamp of the two- party political system designed to hold Government and the Public Sector accountable to the Private Sector.

Any tax reform must eliminate taxes on adjusted taxable income and replace it with a flat 5 percent annual capital assessment on individual and corporate net worth. The new entitlements are eroding the American work ethic and need to be replaced with real, private-sector jobs that create a true return on our gross national product.

The new entitlements need a major overhaul to avoid depriving enterprise of much-needed capital to create jobs. By reducing American workers' dependency on unemployment benefits, minimum wage, public service pension debt, workers' compensation, food stamps, welfare, enforcement agencies for collecting taxes, we can utilize the additional capital resources for creating jobs.
