SUN CITY, Calif.

The 'tick' to write about a mockingbird started the journey of poet and author George Weber in weaving the story that sees "Lyle Lizard, Carlton Cricket and Marvin Mockingbird in Questionable Justice" (published by Xlibris). A read intended for children, this delightful tale highlights the importance of friendship and forgiveness.

One day, three friends, Lyle Lizard, Carlton Cricket and Marvin Mockingbird find themselves inside a courthouse after a dissension between them. After a thorough investigation, realizations and apologies, the three lifelong friends were able to salvage their relationship.

By letting different animals bond over a special friendship, Weber is able to show little ones that friendship transcends appearance and social status in life. In pitting them against each other by causing a stir and ending it with forgiveness, he shows how important it is to swallow pride and salvage a great relationship by saying sorry.

Filled with moral lessons that little ones can apply in their lives as early as now, this vividly illustrated book is a must have in every shelf at home or in school.
