Ethiopian Immigrant Releases GPS FOR AMERICA

In a now infamous YouTube clip from "The Newsroom", presidential candidate, Will McAvoy creates unrest when he argues that America is no longer the greatest country in the world.

In a stark contrast, first generation Ethiopian immigrant and business professional, Abel Gashe still believes in the 'land of opportunity'.

He cites the United States' individual autonomy and strong spiritual foundation as reasons for continued global supremacy.

Gashe's new book, "GPS for America" is an appraisal and evaluation of American society and politics. Offering a pragmatic and positive outlook, the book lauds the political, social, economic and spiritual foundations of America while providing minor critiques.

"I strive to pay tribute to the U.S. and its people for granting me and millions of others the kind of freedom I was unable to attain in my home country," Gashe said. "While the American Union is imperfect, it remains the greatest nation in the world."
