WEATHERFORD, Texas

Author and minister Ernest D. Thrash compiles his study of holiness and Christianity in his new book, "Holiness & The Forgotten Commandment" (published by AuthorHouse).

Through "Holiness & The Forgotten Commandment," Thrash illustrates how people can develop a relationship with God and other people, citing what he feels is the oft-forgotten commandment to love one another. The book shows how when holiness enters one's life blessings from God and a love for people are the natural results.

Drawing upon the teachings of the Gospels, Thrash outlines a plan to bring holiness and peace into one's life. Over the course of the book, he answers questions such as: "What does God want for humanity?" "How does God expect His followers to live?" and "What is the meaning of humanity's existence?"

"I want readers to understand," Thrash says, "that God desires people to wake up from a life filled with worldly complexities and discover that life is not complex at all. When we live for the designed reasons, God will fill our lives with beauty and meaning so that we are complete."
