Dr. Lynda Rose Bruce Releases HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED?

Humanity is on the cusp of a new era, an era where information is readily available to anyone. Living in this so-called Information Age makes it necessary for people to be clever and practical in their response to information. In her timely book, "A Layperson's Guide to Understanding Research and Data Analysis," Lynda Rose Bruce guides readers through the ins and outs of research, ultimately empowering them to make the most out of today's information influx.

Dr. Bruce has dedicated her life to learning, teaching and analyzing data for many organizations. Her background in research and data analysis includes 28 years working as a psychometrist and later the associate vice president for institutional research at Sonoma State University. She wrote "A Layperson's Guide to Understanding Research and Data Analysis" to help others, especially those who have no formal training in data analysis and researching techniques, understand the information that is flooding them and find ways to make these information useful to their lives.

The book is non-traditional in its approach to the subject in that it puts the focus on the concepts behind pertinent processes rather than formulas and data calculations. It also uses easy-to-understand language rather than the complex jargon of social science research which takes years to fully understand.

"I hope that this book will help you understand yourself, how you use and interpret information you receive either at work or in daily life, what the main concepts are in Social Science Research and Data Analysis, and how to read a research article with fluency of the layout and results presented. I would also like to hear back from you about what questions you may still have, changes you would suggest, and ideas for future books. You can contact Xlibris to get that information to me. Thank you and have fun!" Dr. Bruce says.

Necessary and relevant, "A Layperson's Guide to Understanding Research and Data Analysis" is a must-have guide for students, professors, concerned citizens and practically anyone who wants to become strategic and successful in the Information Age.
