Donnie R. Golden, a former railroad engineer and current minister, and Linda J. Golden, a former dietetics educator who is now involved in the ministry along with her husband, have completed their new book "Personalities of The Four Little Pigs of "Possum Kingdom": an exploration of the Goldens' studies of the personality types as presented by Robert A. Rohm and Florence and Fred Littauer and others in their books and seminars over a period of several years. The wise old owl in the book represents the personality of Robert A. Rohm.

The Goldens were motivated in part to write this book due to Donnie's struggles with dyslexia as a child and his being misunderstood by his parents and himself. Donnie Golden was able to teach himself to read as an adult and according to the Goldens, "(We) want to encourage anyone with the types of struggles faced in the book to read, read, read, because it opens up a world of opportunities that you never dreamed of."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Donnie R. Golden and Linda J. Golden's partially autobiographical stories center around the four little pigs personified. Darius Sausage, Isaac Ham, Sammy Bacon, and Casey Porkchop each encounter different situations and their distinct personality types are exemplified in how they react and interact with the world around them.

The Goldens explain that the earlier children begin to understand the differences in people's personalities; they will have a greater chance of developing good and profitable relationships later in life. Everyone reading this book will be able to identify parts of their own personality in each of the characters. The four personality types discussed are choleric, sanguine, phlegmatic, and melancholy, and readers will discover their personality and the personalities of those around them include a mix of these types fostering better social understanding.

Readers who wish to experience this inspiring work can purchase"Personalities of The Four Little Pigs of "Possum Kingdom" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
